Usually when people undertake a new project (academic, professional, emotional), try to define a determined goal to pursue. When we don’t do it this way, is common to get bored and have the feeling of emptiness.

When you set a goal, you do the things my passion and motivation, and almost without noticing you get success and then you are again setting new goals.

When a teacher teaches (worth the redundandy), has to be aware of the importance of the duty, of the importance of forming people not only in the determined field of teaching, but in life.

Being motivated is a key for a successful process, for both student and teacher. When the teacher is motivated makes of any class a different and substantial experience, but having students motivated ain’t easy task.

Motivate the student means guiding them in a direction and make sure that right and necessary steps are being taken.

Is usually known that the meaningful learning process is reflect of the motivation, and also that student motivation is reflect of the achievement of meaningful learning process.

It’s not easy to make students feeling like with effort and persistency things work out and worth it. That’s why any motivational process needs three components: NEEDS, INTERESTS, and REASONS. Is important to determine how ready and able to learn are the students and how ready and able to teach are the teachers.

Also we have to question ourselves ¿am I or am I willing to be patient and helpful with the student’s process? ¿do I really care about their learning?

When students are distracted, it’s almost sure that they are not learning, or at least not effectively. So teachers have to put all the interest and effort to be sure that’s not going to happen.

Nowadays internet and technology are taking everyone’s life, so as future teachers we have to learn how to use those as tools not just for teaching, but also for keeping motivated the students.
